“Hi Kip, after watching Aviara get built, playing the course many times over 20 years, driving past your academy between holes 8 and 9 and reading about your teaching successes for years, I finally made it out for a half day lesson yesterday.

What an idiot I have been for not taking advantage of your academy all these years. I have essentially been “self-taught,” being a voracious reader of all things golf. Meaning, I have made and reinforced my own mistakes.

I loved your approach to teaching the game and eliminating some of the wrong teaching ideas that we tend to take too literally.

I must add, I am sure you have given the same opening speech to classes for years, but your enthusiasm and conviction for your teaching methods came across as fresh to me as they might have 10 to 15 years ago.

Ken Green was great to work with and I am anticipating returning for a longer session later this year.”
